Privacy Policy

PAASUP Corp. (hereinafter “Company”) establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws in order to protect users' personal information and handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.

1. Items and Methods of Personal Information Collection

The Company collects personal information as follows when users submit a “Talk to” request on the website.

  • Receiving expert consultation requests and contacting applicants

  • Retained for 1 year after consultation completion, then destroyed without delay upon expiration of the retention period.
  • The personal information collected by the Company is consultation request information that does not involve transactions or payments for goods or services, and is not subject to separate retention requirements under other laws such as the E-Commerce Act.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company does not, in principle, provide users' personal information to external parties. However, exceptions are made when the user has given prior consent, or when required by law or requested by investigative agencies following legally prescribed procedures and methods for investigative purposes.

5. Entrustment of Personal Information Processing

The Company does not currently outsource personal information processing tasks to external parties. If entrustment occurs in the future, the Company will publicly disclose the trustee and the scope of entrusted tasks through this Privacy Policy in advance, and obtain prior consent if necessary.

7. Collection and Refusal of Personal Information via Cookies

The Company uses cookies for website usage statistics analysis (Google Analytics).

  • Purpose of Cookies: To understand visit and usage patterns, popular search terms, and areas of interest in order to provide optimized information and improve services.
  • Cookie Installation, Operation, and Refusal: Users may refuse cookie storage through their web browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to refuse information collection.
  • Impact of Refusal: Refusing cookie storage may reduce the accuracy of statistical analysis, but will not restrict the use of basic website services such as consultation requests.

8. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information

  • Destruction Procedure: Personal information whose retention period has expired or whose processing purpose has been achieved is transferred to a separate database and destroyed after a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws, or destroyed immediately.
  • Destruction Method: Information in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that prevent record recovery.

9. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives, and How to Exercise Them

Users may exercise the following rights at any time.

  • Request for correction if there are errors
  • Request for deletion
  • Request to stop processing

Rights may be exercised against the Company via written request, telephone, or email, and the Company will take action without delay.

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.

  • Encryption of personal information (where applicable)

11. Personal Information Protection Officer

The Company has designated a Personal Information Protection Officer to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and to handle complaints and remedy damages related to personal information of data subjects.

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from the date of enforcement. Any additions, deletions, or corrections to the content in accordance with laws and policies will be notified through the website at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
